In Figma you can export any image layer or frame to JPG, PNG, SVG, or PDF. In this quick post, we’ll see how to export images in Figma to JPG and PNG.

Export Frames to PNG
To export a Figma frame or an image layer to PNG, select your image and go to the Export section in the right-hand sidebar.
- Hit the + icon in the right corner of the export section.
- Choose PNG as an image format, and hit the Export button.
You can also preview your image before exporting with the Preview toggle.

To export a Figma frame or an image layer to JPG, select your image and go to the Export section in the right-hand sidebar.
- Hit the + icon in the right corner of the export section.
- Choose JPG as an image format, and hit the Export button.
